The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

PLOT:

Pooh, a bear of very little brain, and all his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood sing their way through adventures that encompass honey, bees, bouncing, balloons, Eeyore’s birthday, floods, and Pooh sticks.

REVIEW:

Winnie the Pooh, although not a full Disney character is one of the most popular icons in the lexicon. This is the movie that brought him and his friends to us.

Not the typical film, but not quite the package film of Disney films during the World Wars, it is still a good film. I think the difference may be part of the longevity. Shame they don’t make movies like this anymore. Of course, now everything has to be computer animated.

Still, this movie does accomplish its goal of having the feeling of a book come to life. Thye even incorporate the book into several scenes.

When you watch this, remember Gopher isn’t in the book.

Yes, I recommend this to everyone, unless you’re just one of those people that refuses to watch Disney or cartoons, or have fun with what you watch.
